A Bit About Me

Lady Cels is a Maryland-based cosplayer and costumer with over 21 years of experience in creating costumes from scratch. Known for their craftsmanship and creativity, she has won multiple awards at conventions, competing in the Masters division in craftsmanship. Her work stands out for its incredible attention to detail and innovation, making her a respected name in the cosplay community.

With a B.F.A. in Technical Theater and Costume Design, plus an M.A. in Puppetry (focused on Fabrication), Lady Cels combines technical skill with artistic flair. She has been teaching for over a decade, sharing their knowledge at conventions across the East Coast. Over the years, she's developed and presented more than 40 workshops and panels, covering a range of technical skills and crafts. Her sessions are known for being engaging and informative, and she's often invited back to share her expertise with new audiences.

As Vice President of the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Lady Cles helps lead efforts to raise awareness and provide education about fiber arts. In her spare time, she also volunteer their time running sewing workshops and classes at VisArt in Rockville, Maryland.

On top of all that, Lady Cels is passionate about making the maker and cosplay communities more inclusive. As a disabled neurodivergent (ND) professional, she actively work to create more accessibility and acceptance within the cosplay world. She also served on an advisory board for an NST Study by Digital Harbor, helping develop accessible makerspaces for autistic young adults.

If you’re looking for a guest who brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to your event, Lady Cels would be a fantastic addition to your event . Whether it’s as a panelist, cosplay judge, or educator, she's excited to share their skills and experience with your attendees.
